About Me

At Lusitana Atelier, crochet is more than a skill — it’s a lifelong passion.

Taught by my grandmother, and then my mother, this tradition has been part of my life for over thirty years.

With every stitch, I’m still learning.
Creating by hand is a way to slow down, to share, and to offer something honest and heartfelt.

Each piece is crocheted by hand, with care, patience, and a good dose of love.
Each piece is made to carry warmth — something you can give, hold onto, or pass along with heart.

What makes each piece special

The Craft

Crocheting is a slow and deliberate process — guided by hand, not by machine.
Each stitch is made one by one, with patience and care.
Here, nothing is rushed. Each creation reflects time, skill, and a love for craftsmanship.

The Materials

I mostly work with natural fibres like cotton, I also use others — such as acrylic, bamboo, or linen blends — depending on the piece.
Each material is chosen for its texture, durability, and how it feels against the skin.
Whenever possible, I select high-quality, locally sourced yarns.

The Intention

There’s more to a crocheted piece than just its form — there’s meaning behind it.
Whether it’s a gift, a keepsake, or something for yourself, every piece carries good energy and quiet intention, To create is to care, and
every loop holds a bit of that intention.

New creations coming soon

Each one handmade with care, and crafted to carry warmth and meaning.
